My name is Krissy and Paper Schmaper is my playground. I’m a designer with a passion for paper and an unparalleled enthusiasm for the art of the handwritten note. Sometimes I like to get my hands dirty and play with ink on press.

Paper Schmaper started in 2008 with a need to get away from the computer and back to the roots of typography & print. Starting with a small Gocco screen printer and moving to heavier hobbies- the first press was a Golding Pearl No. 1 from 1890. Next, a Golding Pearl No. 11 joined the family and finally a 1950's Heidelberg Windmill.
